Apple launches iPad app for iPhoto, updates others

Apple unveiled a new version of iPhoto today alongside the new iPad. The company is bringing the photo software, already found on MacBooks, to the iPad. Apple executives showed off the editing capabilities of the new iPhoto app and said it would work with photos up to 19 megapixels.While most fixate on the hardware, Apple has taken equal care to ensure that its software and breadth of available apps complements the device.
